Yamaha Expects Spies to Take Multiple Wins in 2012

Ben Spies grabbed a podium finish during his rookie MotoGP season in 2010. The American took a few more podiums and his first race victory in his sophomore effort. But the Yamaha team is expecting a lot more from the young rider.

On April 8th, thousands of fans will watch the first race of the 2012 MotoGP season. Racing fans will watch as Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner, Valentino Rossi, and Dani Pedrosa compete on the track. But according to the 2010 MotoGP champion, the real battle will take place in the garages.

Cameron Beaubier celebrated Christmas with a cast on his leg. The Daytona Sportbike rider fractured the tibia on his left leg while training on a motocross bike in California.

Josh Hayes and Yamaha Aim For Third Consecutive AMA Title

Josh Hayes will be returning to the Yama AMA Superbike team in 2012 with the hopes of winning his third straight championship. Yamaha also announced that Josh Herrin will be joining Hayes on the Superbike squad, while Cameron Beaubier and Garrett Gerloff will suit up for the Daytona Sportbike class.
