Jonah Street's RiffRaff Crew Gathering Funds For 2012 Dakar

jonah_streetThere will be at least one American lining up for the world's most difficult race. Jonah Street has already started preparing for the 2012 Dakar Rally but he needs a little support to make a successful journey to South America.

Streets' RiffRaff program is back in action and gathering funds for the American rider as he prepares for another go at the Dakar. Street claimed a stage win during last year's Dakar, gave daily updates, and burned through a whole bunch of fuel.

"Jonah Street's RiffRaff program broke some serious records," reads a RiffRaff press release. "In fact, it was so successful and vital to his ability to take on the Dakar Rally that the KLIM rider locked down a stage win on his new Yamaha and provided daily updates! Yes, those iPhone minutes back to the U.S. were supported by you! As were his fees to break his tires out of embargo, pay a tremendous fuel bill (he's on the gas, after all) and did we mention that stage win? That's your stage win! Great job!"

The RiffRaff fan club built a new website, www.jonahstreetracing.com, where Jonah Street fans can support America's top Dakar rider. But the RiffRaff club isn't all about giving, you can win some cool stuff too.

An unidentified ruffian said:

"Being in the Riff Raff is like being a member of Jonah's elite race team in the hostile Dakar environment except we get to wear really sweet clothes, take showers daily and cash in on discounts while swimming in freebies from his sponsors."
