Carlos Checa Stays on Top During Q2

carlos_checaA wet session at Miller Motorsports Park left Carlos Checa at the top of the timesheets. Checa remained at the top of timesheets, despite quick laps by Leon Camier, Jakub Smrz, and Leon Haslam.

Camier was the quickest rider during Q2, beating out Smrz and Haslam around the Miller Motorsports track. Checa crossed the line next ahead of Sylvain Guintoli and Max Biaggi

Marco Melandri was the only rider to crash during the session, but was still able to qualify for Superpole. Joan Lascorz, James Toseland, Mark Aitchison, Maxime Berger, and Roberto Rolfo all failed to make the cut.
