The Supersonic team is all about experience, and youth. The new World Superbike team is looking forward to the 2011 season, and Danilo Soncini, the founder and owner of the team, is has a lot of faith into his new rider, Maxime Berger.

Berger, Soncini, and the rest of the Supersonic team made their official launch this weekend, showcasing their new livery, rider, and motorcycle.

"It will be soon my first World Superbike race," said Maxime. "It is our goal to always get some points in the top ten, but I have to learn many things to exploit the full potential of my Ducati."

Berger will be a World Superbike rookie, but he has plenty of experience around the track. Berger has rode the last three season in the Superstock 1000 series, and finished on the podium during everyone of those seasons. Berger has also raced in the Supersport and the Superstock 600 series.

Soncini said that he chose Berger because "he is an experienced and young rider, young just like the team."

The Supersonic team, which will be using a red, black, and white motorcycle with a grey tank during the 2011 World Superbike season, will head to Phillip Island next week for the final testing session before Berger makes his WSBK debut.
