First Win of 2010 for Crutchlow

wsbk_crutchlowCal Crutchlow has been near the top of the podium this season, but he had never found the top until today. Crutchlow claimed his first WSBK victory of 2010 today at Silverstone, and also gave the reigning rider's champion, Yamaha, its first win of the season.

Crutchlow led an all British podium in front of the Silverstone crowd, with fellow countrymen Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam filling the other two spots on the podium.

Crutchlow finished a second and a half ahead of Rea to become the 7th World Superbike Rider to claim a race win this year. Behind Rea, there was a ten second gap until Fabrizio crossed the line ahead of Max Biaggi.

Biaggi still holds a commanding lead in the series, but Rea and Haslam are slowly gaining him.
