Crutchlow Claims Pole Position at Silverstone

wsbk_crutchlow_poleCal Crutchlow continues to lead the time sheets after the Superpole event at Silverstone. Crutchlow claimed his fifth pole position of the 2010 World Superbike season ahead of Jonathan Rea and Michel Fabrizio.

Crutchlow set a 2'04.091 second lap on his first attempt during SP3. His lap was never seriously challenged. Rea was closest, but was still 7 tenths of a second behind.

Fabrizio and Jakub Smrz will finish off the first row of the grid, while Leon Haslam and Max Biaggi will both start from row two, followed by a pair of BMW's ridden by Troy Corser and Ruben Xaus.
