Top Positions Remain After Q2

wsbk_crutchlowThe second qualifying session for the World Superbike Series at Silverstone got underway after heavy rains. The damp Silverstone track left riders with little chance to improve upon their Q1 times, and the majority of the field stayed in their Q1 positions.

Cal Crutchlow still leads after the second Qualifying session, followed by Jonathan Rea, Troy Corser, and Leon Camier.

Only three riders were able to improve their times fro Q1. Ruben Xaus had a better day during the second qualifying session, but still remains 16th overall. Josh Brookes and Ryuichi Kiyonari were the other two riders to improve on their times.

The sun is out now at Silverstone, and the track is heating up. The Word Superbike riders should be able to increase the speed at the Superpole event.
