Crutchlow Leads After First Qualifying

wsbk_crutchlowCal Crutchlow scorched the Silverstone track during the first Qualifying session of the World Superbike in Britain. Crutchlow rode to the top of the timesheets in front of his home crowd, followed by Jonathan Rea and Troy Corser.

Crutchlow was the only rider to break the 2 minute and six second barrier, and he did it three times. Crutchlow finished with a 2'05.664 time, four tenths faster than Rea.

Troy Corser was the fastest rider who doesn't hail from Britain, and looks to be fully recovered from his crash at BRNO.

All of the World Superbike riders seem to be well adjusted to the Silverstone track, as the top 10 were all within one second of eachother.
