The World Superbike event at Silverstone has taken off, and Jonathan Rea is leading the pack. Rea was followed by a series of Brits, with the top four riders all racing in front of their home crowd.
Rea topped the time sheets with a 2'06.927 time, which came right at the end of the session. He was followed by James Toseland, Leon Haslam, and Cal Crutchlow, each of whom experienced the top spot on the time sheet at one point during the first free practice session at Silverstone.
