For the fourth time this season, Cal Crutchlow has earned the top spot on the grid. Crutchlow took the pole position at BRNO ahead of Max Biaggi and Jonathan Rea.
Crutchlow was dominating throughout the superpole event, and ended the final session 7 tenths of a second ahead of Biaggi, with a 1'58.018 second time.
Biaggi couldn't find the speed to pass up Crutchlow, but Biaggi will start a good deal ahead of his biggest contender, Leon Haslam. For the first time this season, Haslam failed to reach the third superpole session, and will start from the 14th spot on the grid. Noriyuki Haga will start one place behind, having crashed out in the second superpole session.
Ruben Xaus will complete the front row behind Rea, Crutchlow and Biaggi, making it four different manufacturers on the front row. With Sylvain Guintoli and Luca Scassa in fifth and sixth, the top six positions are filled by different bikes.
Michel Fabrizio and Carlos Checa will compete from row two.
