For the first time in the 2010 World Superbike season, Max Biaggi is the point leader. Biaggi took home both wins at Miller Motorsports Park, his third double of the WSBK season.
Biaggi took advantage of a mechanical malfunction suffered by Carlos Checa in race one to take the win, and in race two, it was Leon Haslam who crashed out, giving Biaggi his third double of the season.
With Haslam retiring for the first time this season, Biaggi was able to gain 15 points in one race on the former season leader.
Fellow Aprilia rider Leon Camier had his best finish at the WSBK level with a second place finish at Miller Motorsports park. Camier's second place also gave Aprilia its first ever 1-2 finish at the WSBK level.
Cal Crutchlow managed a third place finish, just edging out Noriyuki Haga who finally looks to be back on track.
Troy Corser took fifth place around the Miller Motorsports Park track.
