The World Superbike will touch down on American soil this weekend as the circuit moves to Millersports Park in Utah. Roger Lee Hayden will be the only American rider competing at this weekend's event. Hayden has spent the first half of the WSBK season riding at unfamiliar tracks around Europe, and will now get his shot in front of a home crowd.
"At last we arrive at a circuit that I've already seen before, even though I haven't raced there very much," declared the Kawasaki Pedercini man. "I'm not that keen on the layout but I'll get a lot of support from my family, friends and fans who are coming to see me."
Hayden, who is the brother of former MotoGP champ, Nicky Hayden, had his best finish of 14th at Monza.
"I'm looking forward to racing at Miller this weekend," said Hayden. "We have to work well to get a good race set-up because I know this track is different from all the others on the calendar. A lot of friends will be coming along to see me race so I hope to be able to have two great races."
