DFX Ducati Out for Kyalami and Miller

wsbk_dfx_ducatiThe World Superbike will be short one team when they make the trek to Kyalami, Africa, this weekend. The DFX Ducati racing team has decided not to participate in the Kyalami event in Africa this weekend or the United States event at Miller Motorsports Park on May 31st.

The DFX Ducati team lone rider is Lorenzo Lanzi, who is currently far behind the leaders in 15 place with 26 points. Lanzi has yet to make it up to the podium this World Superbike season.

Carlos Checa is the highest ranked Ducati in fourth place, followed by Noriyuki Haga in 6th, and Michel Fabrizio in 11th.

The DFX Ducati team will begin to compete again in the World SBK championship when the race returns to the Misano Adriatico in Italy, on June 27th.
