Carl Fogarty is a racing icon, and much of his success was achieved aboard a Ducati. Fogarty won 55 races and four World Superbike Championships riding a Ducati, and now Fogarty will get the chance to get back on the bike that helped make him famous, and ride around Oulton Park track.
Fogarty will be aboard a Ducati 848 for demonstration run around the 2.69 mile Oulton Park track, to promote the Ducati 848 Challenge, which will be used in a few British Superbike events next year.
Fogarty last rode a Ducati in 2000, and is looking forward to getting back in the saddle with his favorite manufacturer, but also revisiting Oulton Park. Oulton Park served as Fogarty's home track when he raced in the British Superbike series, and the Fogarty Moss Centre, which serves as the venues administration and hospitality facility, was obviously named for him.
Fogarty will do his demonstration aboard the Ducati 848 on Sunday, October 10th.
