Hill Takes 5th Pole Position

bsb_hill_croftTommy Hill found himself again at the spot on the time sheets today, as the Worx Crescent Suzuki rider captured his fifth pole position of the British Superbike Championship this morning at Croft. Hill, who is tied for the lead with Ryuichi Kiyonari, will start from the front of the grid during tomorrow's race.

"It is tough out there for everyone but I am so happy to be back on pole,” Hill said. “We can't afford a bad weekend and I know tomorrow that it is going to be a tough race as the pressure is on now. We all want to win and lead the championship, but James Ellison is going to be up there too so it is going to be tight at the top. The Worx Crescent Suzuki is working well, we have a few tweaks for tomorrow but I think we are in a good position and I am looking for two wins tomorrow."

Hill will have a nice head start over Kiyonari, who crashed out during the second qualifying session, but Michael Laverty, Michael Rutter, and James Ellison will be sure to challenge Hill during tomorrow's race.
