2010 British Superbike Preview: Brands Hatch

bsbk_king_kiyoThis weekend, the British Superbike series will move on to the legendary Brands Hatch track, where the battle for the top six will continue to intensify. Every point counts at Brands Hatch, and with a three race weekend, there are plenty of points to be had.

Tommy Hill currently leads the series, but by only two points ahead of Josh Brookes. Ryuichi Kiyonari is 25 points behind Hill, but King Kiyo has been hot as of late, and could pick up a lot of points at the Brands Hatch track.

The top three riders have a little breathing room, but Michael Laverty or Michael Rutter could easily move into the top three if someone slips up.

John Laverty is barely holding on to the sixth place spot. He is just one point ahead of Alastair Seeley. The two Swan Honda riders, Stuart Easton and James Ellison, have both vowed victories at Brands Hatch. They'll need them if they want to make it into the top six.
