Brookes Takes FP1 From Seeley

Josh Brookes rode to the top of the timesheets during the first free practice session of the British Superbike Championship at Snetterton. Brookes passed up Alastair Seeley, who had held the top spot until the final fifteen minutes.

Seeley started at the top of the session, and after losing the lead briefly to Michael Rutter, climbed his way again to the top of the time sheets. It wasn't until the end of the session that Brookes upped the pace, and neither Rutter nor Seeley could keep up.

Rutter would eventually drop to fifth, as Michael Laverty and Simon Andrews both put in solid times to claim third and fourth.

Tommy Hill worked his way into 6th ahead of Ryuichi Kiyonari, while Stuart Easton continued to try and find his rhythm, finishing behind Kiyo in 7th.
