Laverty Tops Times Sheets at FP2

Michael Laverty was the only rider to break the 48 second lap time during the second free practice session at Knockhill. The Relentless Suzuki rider was at the top of the time sheets, followed by Josh Brookes and Stuart Easton.

Laverty set the best time early on, and the beat his time with a 48.873 second lap halfway through the session. Brookes got closest to matching Laverty's time, but fell short by .332 seconds.

Stuart Easton finished just ahead of Ryuichi Kiyonari, and Michael Rutter put in a fast last lap to slide into fifth place ahead of season leader Tommy Hill.
