Ryuichi Kiyonari took both wins at Mallory Park this weekend, completing his first double victory in the British Superbike since 2000. His HM Plant Honda teammate Josh Brookes took second place for the second time today, giving the HM plant Honda team two 1-2 finishes.
Kiyonari took the holeshot, and led for the majority of the race. Kiyonari finished 3.6 seconds ahead of teammate Brookes. and 9.7 seconds ahead of Michael Laverty who completed the podium.
Michael Rutter took fourth ahead of Chris Walker, and Laverty's brother John finished in 6th.
Season Leader Tommy Hill is starting to see his lead slip away. Hill didn't finish race one, and only managed an 8th place finish in race two behind Simon Andrews.
Hill still leads the BSBK, but his lead has dwindled to just four points. Josh Brookes is second in the overall standings with 150, followed by Michael Laverty with 133.
King Kiyo puts himself back into contention with his two wins at Mallory Park, giving himself 128 points in the overall standings.
