Hill Takes Pole at Cadwell Park

bsbk_hillSeason leader Tommy Hill took the pole position after the Swan Combi Roll for Pole at the British Superbike in Cadwell Park.

Hill was quick around the track throughout the day, but he didn't set his winning time until the final ten minutes.

"I am happy to be on pole; it is always the goal but to be honest we have struggled a bit this weekend and everyone is so fast I knew it would be tough," said Hill. "We have changed the forks over several times and then went back to basics but now we are up here and that is the main thing. We needed to be here though as it is so close between the top guys that anything less would have made life tough for race one."

Hill was followed by Josh Brookes and Michael Rutter, who eached finished within a half a second of the season leader.

Ryuichi Kyonari took fourth place, with Michael Laverty coming in fifth.
