The British Superbike riders are gearing up to take on the mountain course at Cadwell Park this weekend. The Cadwell Park track is popular with fans because of its tendency to get riders airborne. This is the first time that the BSBK will fly around the Cadwell track twice in one season.
Tommy Hill is building a lead in the BSBK, with two race wins and four other podium finishes. Hill has 126 points in the overall standings, 51 more than his closest competitor, Stuart Easton. Easton got his first win of the season at Oulton Park, but failed to finish in the top ten in race two.
Michael Laverty found himself at the top at the end of race 2, claiming his first win and only podium finish of the season. Laverty sits in fourth place in the overall standings, 9 points back from Josh Brookes.
Tommy Hill's teamate, Yukio Kagayama, has opted out of the race at Cadwell Park. Kagayama is still suffering from an injury he sustained at Oulton park.
