Stuart Easton was again the fastest person around the track as the British Superbike riders tore around the Oulton Park track. Easton was the fastest around the track at the first free practice, and managed to stay on top, despite superb efforts by Michael Rutter and Tommy Hill.
Hill might have overtaken Easton but he crashed out with ten minutes remaining. Hill’s second place time would eventually fall to a surging Rutter in the final three minutes.
Gary Mason and Josh Brookes close at the top five.
