Scassa Earns Provisional Pole

luca_scassa_wssLuca Scassa earned the provisional pole at Donington Park today for the World Supersport series, narrowly edging out Sam Lowes.

Scassa won the first race of the 2011 World Supersport season, and continued his fast pace during the first qualifying session. Scassa's 1'31.232 lap time was just good enough to hold off a charging Sam Lowes.

Broc Parkes and David Salom crossed the line next, followed by Chaz Davies and Gino Rea.

The World Supersport riders will their final qualifying session tomorrow before the Donington Park race on Sunday.
