Sofuoglu Set For Supersport Victory

wss_sofuoglu2The battle for the 2010 World Supersport Championship isn't over, but Kenan Sofuoglu set himself up in the pole position for tomorrow's race. Sofuoglu already has a 16 point advantage over title challenger Eugene Laverty, and now with the first spot on the grid, Sofuoglu will be tough to beat.

Sofuoglu took his fifth pole position of the 2010 World Supersport season by setting a 1'41.372 lap time. Laverty wasn't far behind, claiming the second spot on the grid, finishing .5 seconds behind Sofuoglu. Laverty needs a race win tomorrow, and he needs Sofuoglu to stay out of the top five.

Katsuaki Fujiwara and Fabien Foret will complete the front row, while Parkes, Salom, Pirro, and Riccoli will make up row two.
