Kenan Sofuoglu claimed his tenth career pole position at Miller Motorsports park today. Sofuoglu, who leads the series with 117 points, will start from the pole position during tomorrow's Memorial Day race.
Sofuoglu took the pole position with a blistering fast 1'51.281 second lap, a new record at Miller Motorsport Park.
Eugene Laverty came in second behind Sofuoglu. Laverty is only one point behind Sofuoglu in the overall standings, as Laverty is on a two race win streak, taking the top spot at both Monza and Kyalami.
Joan Lascorz completed the podium. The top three riders at the end of the second qualifying session will battle for the race one tomorrow, as all three riders are within 5 points of the lead.
