Red Bull Rookies: Sissis Graduates to Moto3

sissisArthur Sissis' impressive career in the Red Bull Rookies Cup has come to an end. Sissis, now 16, will be graduating to the Moto3 class where he will join fellow Red Bull rider Danny Kent on the Ajo Motorsports Team.

Sissis, who finished second in the 2011 Red Bull Rookies Cup behind Lorenzo Baldassarri, says that his experience in the Rookies series has prepared him well for MotoGP racing.

"It's a dream come true," said Sissis. "This has been the best year of my life. I have learned so much in the Rookies Cup. I was a speedway rider before and learned everything about road racing in the Cup. I know that racing in the GP class is a new challenge, but I'm ready for it."

Baldassarri, who won the 2011 Red Bull Rookies Cup Championship, is still too young to advance to Moto3. Baldassarri will race one more year in the Red Bull Rookies in an attempt to defend his title.
