Red Bull Rookies Cup Heads to Mugello

red_bull_rookies_cupThe fourth round of the Motogp at Mugello will feature the second race for the Red Bull Rookies Cup. The teenage racers head into Mugello, with Danny Kent in the lead.

Danny Kent, a 16 year old Briton, took a second and first place win at Jerez. Kent is followed by Spaniard Daniel Ruiz, 18, who finished first and third at Jerez, and Japanese rider Daijiro Hiura, 15, who finished second and third.

The top three riders have at least one Red Bull Rookies Cup season under their belts, but you can't count out newcomers like Niccolo Antonelli to take the win at Mugello.

Antonelli, a 14 year old Italian, battled for the lead in both races, but only managed to finish with two 7th place finishes. Florian Alt, who turned 14 just before the Jerez race, was another young rider who showed impressive speed in his first Red Bull Rookies Cup season.
