On New Year's Eve, Robbie Maddison will attempt to break Ryan Capes record 391 foot jump. And Maddison is pretty confident that the record will be broken. Why? Because the Red Bull rider reportedly smashed the record during practice.
In an interview with ESPN, Maddison was asked if he was nervous about breaking Cape's record. To which he replied:
"Nope! I already broke it in practice. I can't share numbers at this point but I can say that people who tune in on New Year's Eve are going to see something that's never been done before."
So what are we talking about here? A 400 foot jump?
Of course, breaking the record when its just you and the crew is one thing. Breaking the record in front of thousands of screaming fans is a little different.
Here's a video about Maddison's record breaking attempt.
