The 2011 ESPY Awards are coming, and two motocross riders are up for an award. Travis Pastrana has been nominated for the best male action sports athlete award, and Ashley Fiolek has been nominated for the best female action sports athlete award.
Travis Pastrana won two gold medals during the 2010 X-Games. Pastrana won a gold in both the freestyle and speed & style competitions. Pastrana is going up against Tucker Hilbert (snowmobiling), Kevin Rolland (freestyle skiing), Kelly Slater (surfing), and Shaun White (snowboarding).
Ashley Fiolek, who won her second straight Moto X Racing gold at the 2010 X Games 2010, also finished second in the points during the 2010 Women's Motocross Association tour. Fiolek is going up against Sarah Burke (freestyle skiing), Kelly Clark (snowboarding), and Stephanie Gilmore (surfing).
