The Night of the Jumps will head to Russia this weekend for the first time in its history for the 6th round of the FIM Freestyle MX World Championship.
Javier Villegas currently leads the series with 86 points, but Remi Bizouard is close behind with 82. But Villegas and Bizouard will have to compete with young guns David Rinaldo, Maikel Melero, and Petr Pilat, who all proved that they were capable of capturing the podium at the last round in Munich.
Defending champion Libor Podmol broke a few ribs while the FMX series raced in Switzerland, but Podmol is determined to keep himself in the championship fight.
Australian Josh Sheehan will also be in the mix this weekend. Sheehan has been at the top for the last four Night of the Jumps events and will look to continue his streak this weekend.
