Scottish rider Jimmy Storrar will make his debut at the 2012 Isle of Man TT with the TC Racing Honda outfit.
Storrar will be racing in all classes during the 2012 Isle of Man TT. The Scottish rider was planning to compete in 2011 but he suffered a hand injury before the race.
"Everyone was really disappointed for Jimmy last year when he had to miss his first year at the TT with injury but we're delighted that he's back in 2012 and ready to race on the Isle of Man," said TC Racing Honda/DP Coldplaning Team Boss Mick Charnock. "He's got an extra year's experience under his belt and I'm sure it will stand him in good stead for his Mountain Course debut."
Storrar took 7th in the Macau Grand Prix last year and finished 8th in BSB Superstock Championship. Storrar's 2011 season was hindered by injury but the Scottish ace is looking forward to 2012.
Storrar recently visited the Isle of Man to get the layout of the mountain course.
"I've spent a bit of time this week with the TT rider liaison officers Milky Quayle and Johnny Barton out on the course and they've given me some really good insights. It was really frustrating to miss out last year, especially as my injury was so close to the event but it has only made me even more fired up for the TT this year."
