For the next three years, Subaru will be the official car partner of the Isle of Man TT. Subaru and the Isle of Man have just signed a three year deal that will put Subaru in the spotlight at the mountain course.
Subaru will be providing its latest cars for the Isle of Man. They will also help with running the event, and will take on duties like course inspection. The Isle of Man will provide Subaru with full track side branding during the TT, as well as advertising on race guides and the TT website.
Subaru will also be involved with a closed road car demonstration lap around the mountain course this year. David Higgins, a member of Subaru's Rally team and two-time rally champion will be driving the Subaru car around the mountain course this year.
"Having grown up on the Isle of Man I understand that the TT Races has a mythical status and an incredible heritage and I am looking forward to adding another chapter to its history," said Higgins. "The Mountain Course represents a stunning drive, but for once I'm not going to have much chance to take in the views."
The Isle of Man has been consistently growing, and they are proud that such large companies like Subaru want to be a part of this historic event.
"This is a really strong commercial deal for the TT Races that will also open up some excellent promotional opportunities for the event and the Isle of Man and highlights how strong the TT now is as a global sporting property," said Economic Development Minister Allan Bell. "I am delighted that we have attracted a sponsor as prestigious as Subaru and we look forward to building a long-term partnership with the company."
