Ian Hutchinson was absolutely unbeatable around the IOMTT track. Hutchinson tied the record for most wins at the Isle of Man TT in a week with four wins yesterday, and today, he upped the ante once more to become the only rider in IOMTT history to win five races in a week.
Hutchinson won the senior race today to one up Phillip McCallen's record of 4 TT wins in a week. McCallen was the only person to win 4 races in a week in the TT's 103 year history, which he accomplished in 19996.
Hutchinson's history making win was made easier when John McGuinness and Conor Cummins had to retire around the mountain coure. Hutchinson came in 37.7 seconds ahead of Ryan Farquhar and Bruce Anstey.
After a few 130+ mph laps, Hutchinson cruised to the finish line, finishing his record breaking win standing on his foot pegs in a superman pose. Hutchinson also won the overall TT, taking the Joey Dunlop Trophy by 61 points.
