After a days rest from winning the first Superbike race around the Isle of Man TT track, Ian Hutchinson crossed the finish line first again, this time in the Supersport division.
Hutchinson beat Guy Martin by 3.03 seconds to claim his 5th career IOMTT win, despite the fact that Martin broke the old lap record with an average speed of 126.55 mph around the mountain course.
But Martin only held the record for a brief time as Michael Dunlop and Keith Armor both bested his time, with Armor coming out on top with the fastest lap around the Isle of Man track, with an average speed of 126.909 mph.
Dunlop, Amor, and Martin might have all broken the lap record today, but Ian Hutchinson's consistently fast pace of 124.677 mph gave him his second win of the year.
