The off-season isn't going too well for the MotoGP riders. Nicky Hayden suffered a bad crash before the new year and broke his scapula, and now Andrea Dovizioso will be laid up for a few weeks with a broken collar bone.
The news comes just a few hours after Dovizioso revealed his new tattoo in honor of Marco Simoncelli. Dovizioso tweeted (with the help of Google translate):
"Jinx it! In the hospital with broken right collarbone. Shit! I broke my right collarbone doing motocross."
Dovizioso didn't say how serious the break was, if he'll need surgery, how long he'll be out, or if he'll make it to the next MotoGP test at Sepang at the end of January.
