Marco Simoncelli is gone but he'll never be forgotten. Following Super Sic's death at the Sepang GP, Dovi decided to honor the fallen racer with a tattoo.
Dovizioso posted on twitter (with some translation help from Crash.com):
"After what happened, here is to Sic my thoughts in a Polynesian tattoo with the sun god (life), the frigate bird (destiny) and a gecko."
Dovi clarified the meaning of the tattoo, saying:
"In english should be: I am master of my fate, but only fate knows the end of the road! does it sound well?"
Dovizioso, who raced with the Honda team last year, is moving on to the Yamaha Tech 3 team in 2012.
