Capirossi's Career Ends at Valencia

Loris_CapirossiAfter 22-years and 328 races, Loris Capirossi's career if finally coming to an end. The Pramac Racing rider will race his final MotoGP race this weekend as the 2011 MotoGP season comes to an end this weekend in Valencia.

Loris Capiross will be making his 328th Grand Prix start this weekend in Valencia. Capirossi started his GP career in the 125cc class in 1990. He has raced for 14 seasons in the premier class. Throughout his 22 season career, Capirossi has amassed three championships (2 in the 125cc class and 1 in the 250cc class) 29 wins, 41 pole positions, and 99 podiums.

But Capirossi won't be thinking about his long career this Sunday.

"It will be difficult to be in the paddock without Marco, as everyone will miss him," Capirossi said. "No one will feel like going on the track, but we have to do it for him and for all fans of motorcycle racing."
