After losing, finding, and reattaching the tip of his finger, Jorge Lorenzo is going to have to sit out for at least a race. The Yamaha rider will be replaced by Katsuyuki Nakasuga at the Malaysia GP this weekend.
Lorenzo suffered a high-side crash during the warm-up session before the Australian GP. Lorenzo had surgery after the accident on his hand and is currently recovering. The 2010 champion is hoping that he'll be able to race at the final round in Valencia.
Nakasuga, 30, is one of Yamaha's current test riders and has plenty of experience aboard the M1. Nakasuga is currently racing in the 2011 All Japan Road Racing Championship, where he is ranked third in the JSB1000 class.
