Casey Stoner may be leading the way in the standings, but he isn't the only Repsol Honda rider who is having a good year. Repsol Honda has claimed two of the three podium positions at 11 races this year.
Casey Stoner leads the charge for the Honda trio with 12 podiums this season. Stoner has taken a podium finish at every race this year but one, and has been standing on the box for 11 consecutive races. Stoner has taken 7 wins this season, but couldn't find the top spot last weekend at San Marino.
I'm just worn out. After the past few races I've had to put in a lot more effort in Laguna and Brno, riding a lot harder than I normally would. This together with the neck injury from Assen which I've been struggling to get strong again due to lack of training from the hectic race calendar, has finally caught up with me. For the second half of the race I was just too tired, simple as that, I'm very grateful to have finished on the podium.
Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso have also had fantastic seasons so far. Pedrosa has managed to find the podium 7 times this year, despite missing a few races with an injury, and Dovizioso has stepped on the box 5 times.
The Repsol Honda trio currently hold three of the top four positions. The only rider who can compare numbers to the Honda group is 2010 champion Jorge Lorenzo, who has 8 podiums and three race wins this year.
