Nicolas Terol added another check to the win column today after a dominating performance at Indy. The 23-year-old lead from start to finish to claim victory over Maverick Vinales and Sandro Cortese.
Terol now has a 26 point lead over Johann Zarco, who finished fifth for the day. Zarco was running at the front with Vinales but nearly lost control with 10 laps to go. Zarco dropped back down to 7th but was able to pick up a few more places before the race was over.
Sergio Gadea took fourth after a good battle with Vinales and Cortese. Vinales was loosing steam as his tires heated up, and nearly gave away second place.. Vinales crossed the line just a tenth of a second ahead of Cortese and a half second ahead of his teammate, Gadea.
The 125cc riders set the tone for the day at Indy. Terol's large margin of victory would be a common theme throughout the day, as Marc Marquez and Casey Stoner both dominated their races as well.
