Casey Stoner got another chance to ride the new 2012 1000cc Honda prototype today around the Jerez circuit. Stoner was only scheduled to have one day of testing, while Dani Pedrosa was supposed to take the reigns on day 2. But as surgery has left Stoner incapable of riding for the moment, the Honda team decided to have Stoner test out the bike one more time.
Stoner did another 25 laps around the Jerez circuit in cool and windy conditions. Stoner did 50 laps the previous day.
After Stoner had had his fill of the 2012 Honda, HRC test rider Shinichi finished out the remainder of the session.
The Honda team has not released a statement yet, but said that they were happy with the data they received over the last two days.
