Stoner and Rossi Crash in Jerez [Video] Hot

Rossi_Stoner_Crash_at_JerezValentino Rossi was a little over ambitious during today's race in Jerez for the MotoGP. The former World Champion was making an inside move on Casey Stoner when he lost control of his bike, causing both riders to tumble down the pavement.

Rossi was able to recover from the crash, and ended up finishing fifth for the day. Stoner on the other hand, was forced to retire.
After the race Rossi issued an apology to Stoner, saying that he was sorry to ruin his chances for another race win.

"Yes it was a crazy race because it was difficult conditions," Rossi said. "I was very fast in the beginning of the race in the wet, but unfortunately I made a mistake in braking and I crashed. Unfortunately, I also crashed into Stoner. I went to him to say sorry that I made a mistake."

Rossi and his Ducati were much more competitive today than they were in the past. Rossi said that if it weren't for the crash, he felt like he could have taken his first podium with Ducati, and possibly even the race win. Unfortunately, the crash left "the Doctor" in fifth place, and left Stoner on the pavement.

"Rossi came up the inside and wasn't able to stay on the bike and took me out," Stoner said. "It was not the best day for us for sure, after such a good weekend. We're very disappointed with this result. I believe we would have been there at the end because it was a long race with many people crashing which is why we were being quiet."

"I would prefer if Valentino apologized away from the cameras and would say something to me quietly without always having to have proof," Stoner said. "For sure Valentino doesn't do this for himself, he just wants to show to everybody that he has apologised. Yes it's a nice gesture, it's very good, but it still doesn't change the result today, so we'll see what happens in the next races."

Stoner was upset with the results, but said that the crash was just a racing incident. However, Stoner did express his anger with the race marshals, who he felt did not give him the help he needed after the crash.

Stoner is a little bitch. These things happen in races and yes i understand his anger but who the hell is he to say to Rossi an 8 time world champion that his ambition out weighed his talent. Am I the only person to notice that stoner is forever bitching about something. Either its his bike or his injuries or something in his fucking head. Just get on with it and stop bitching stoner.

Rossi has lost the plot! As a rider on the sidelines that line and braking was way wrong and was only going to end one way. Rossi needs to move off and go carting, he's past it.
