When the MotoGP goes to Indianapolis Motor Speedway next weekend, legendary comedian Jay Leno will serve as the grand marshall.
The Tonight Show host will help welcome the MotoGP stars at the Red Bull Indianapolis GP. Leno as an avid auto enthusiast, with a wide collection of antique cars and motorcycles. Leno will welcome the MotoGP riders, as well as prevent the trophies at the end of the race.
“The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is one of the greatest spectator tracks in the world,” Leno said. “Thankfully my R1 will stay in the Big Dog Garage as I plan to watch and cheer on our three Americans right from the pits.”
Leno has been a part of the Indianapolis Motor Sppedway for the past decade. Leno drove the Chevrolet Monte Carlo Pace Car at the Indianapolis 500 in 1999, and Last July, he brought a few MotoGP riders to see hig collection of cars and motorcycles in Southern California.
