Valentino Rossi and his Fiat Yamaha team decided yesterday that they were ready to return to the MotoGP in Germany. Rossi had to undergo an evaluation from MotoGP doctors, which needless to say, he has passed. Rossi will be back on the GP circuit at Sachsenring.
Rossi's injury left many people speculating that he would be out for the rest of the season. Initial reports had Rossi out for 8-12 weeks. It has only been 6 weeks since Rossi left the circuit, and he has only missed four races.
Rossi is now in 7th place in the overall standings, and his Fiat Yamaha teammate, Jorge Lorenzo, will be tough to catch, but it is possible. And if it doesn't happen, at least it will be a hell of a lot of fun to watch.
