Just yesterday, Valentino Rossi, arguably the world's most popular roadracer, shocked millions when he returned to Misano Italy and rode 26 laps at the circuit in order to gauge his physical abilities and map out if a return on Aug 15 to the Czech Republic GP is realistic. Rossi, always the optimist, didn’t rule out a showing at the German GP on July 18th.
Rossi broke his leg just a month ago during a nasty high-side at testing in Mugello for the Italian Grand Prix. Recovery time was expected to be 3-4 months, but Rossi, on crutches, hobbled over to his YZF-R1 Superbike and posted a 1 minute, 38.200 second lap time. Not bad for a guy who couldn’t even walk a few weeks ago.
Rossi did note that he had some pain in his calf, knee, and back, but is ready and willing to work at it over the next few days in order to compete again.
“We took this test to understand how we continue from here and if I am able to ride a motorbike,” Rossi said. “The test went well because at least I was able to ride, even if I have a lot more work to do before riding in a Moto GP.
“I had some pain in the calf, in the knee and in my back, but overall I missed some of the power in my shoulders and some movement in my ankles.”
Rossi, it goes without saying, but you’re a rockstar. I can proudly say that I have a school girl crush on you (teehee). And let’s not forget the rumors that he may be leaning toward a marriage with Ducati next season; which could be the biggest news of the year. Oh the drama. Stay tuned for more updates.

Rodders, or whoever is behind that (also grade-school like) pen name, nobody cares about your stupid comments. Rossi a rockstar? Hello, where have you been? He has more of a following than most rockstars of this century, and makes much more money than the average rockstar.
I've tried following AAB for a short three weeks, but this sensationalism combined with the basic errors (especially from Dan Evons! Check the Facts!) pulls me away.
Right overall idea for a website, but seems to be run by morons.
