The start of a new season in the Russian Championships means a new wardrobe for the Yakhnich Motorsports racing team. But the ladies of Yakhnich racing aren't just wearing pretty gear, they are being sponsored by one of the premier Italian motorcycle clothing brands, Spyke.
Nadia Yakhnich and Nataliya Lyubimova are campaigning to compete on the World stage, and with the Skype name behind them, both literally and figuratively, it shouldn't be long before the women at Yakhnich Motosports are competing in the World Championships.
Spyke clothing has played a large part in motosports since the early 80's, sponsoring riders at all levels of the MotoGP as well as the World Superbike. The Spyke brand has been on the backs of champions like Neil Hudson, Randy Mamola, and Dirk Raudies. Loris Capirossi and Andrea Dovizioso have also found themselves inside of Spyke clothing.

Yakhnich Motorsports have been competing in the European Championships for the past two years, and they have just started their 2010 campaign at the Russian circuit. But Yakhnich Motorsports wants to be the first to represent Russia on the world stage.
Both Yakhnich and Lyubimova have impressive resumes. Yakhnich was the first woman to rid in the Russian Road Racing Championship, and over two years she finished second and third. Yakhnich was also fourth in the Women's Italian Championship last year.
Lyubimova won the STKWomen's championship in 2009. She also finished second in both the Women's Italian Championships and the Russian road Racing Cup in 2007.
Yakhnich Motorsports aren't on the world stage yet, but with Spyke behind them, they'll look good when they get there.
