Dani Pedrosa will be racing his 150th grand prix race next weekend at Le Mans. Pedrosa will be the youngest person ever to reach the milestone.
At just 24 years and 236 days, the Spaniard beats out the previous record holder, Marco Melandri. Melandri participated in his 150th race in 2007, when he was 25 year and 26 days old.
Pedrosa has raced the majority of his Grand Prix races at the highest level. All of his races, 46 at the 125 class, 32 in the 250 class, and 72 in the premier class, have all been on Hondas.
Perosa has 32 wins total, 8 in MotoGP, giving him a win percentage of 21%. Pedrosa also has three world championships under his belt, but none yet at the MotoGP level.
“Le Mans will also be my 150th grand prix in the world championship, and I would really like to mark this with another great result there,” said Pedrosa.
