On top again with the fastest lap time during the second and final practice Saturday was Ducati Marlboro rider Casey Stoner with a 1:55.501, beating his first practice time by 0.001 of a second.
The Australian, who won the last three MotoGP meetings at
Third fastest was Randy de Puniet aboard the LCR Honda RC212V with a 1:56.350. Two-tenths behind Puniet was another Honda rider, Andrea Dovizioso on the Repsol Honda.
Rossi’s teammate Jorge Lorenzo ended the session fifth fastest, posting a 1:56.646 lap time.
