2011 MotoGP Racing Season
The Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team is heading to Indianapolis this weekend for the 12th round of the 2011 MotoGP season. Colin Edwards will race in his home country for the second time this season this weekend, while his teammate Cal Crutchlow will see the Indy circuit for the first time.
This weekend the MotoGP riders will head to the Sachsenring circuit in Germany for the ninth round of the 2011 MotoGP season. Casey Stoner leads the way at the halfway mark, but Lorenzo's most recent win in Italy has closed the gap to 19 points.
Jorge Lorenzo took his second win of the 2011 MotoGP season today at Mugello, beating out Andrea Dovizioso and season leader Casey Stoner. Lorenzo is now just 19 points behind Stoner in the overall standings.
