Stefan Bradl secured his second consecutive pole position today in Jerez ahead Sunday's Moto2 race. Bradl, who won the first race of the season from the pole position in Qatar, will be joined by Yuki Takahashi and Thomas Luthi on the front row.

Thomas Luthi took the top spot on the time sheets during the first free practice session for the Moto2 in Jerez, and even though he couldn't stay on top during FP2, Luthi's time remained the fastest for Friday.

Stefan Bradl has just started the 2011 Moto2 season in the best possible way. The young German took the first victory of 2011, and he did it in convincing fashion.

Stefan Bradl topped the third and final free practice session today for the Moto2 class in Qatar. Bradl recorded the fastest time during the first free practice session, and was able to drop close to two seconds off of his time to claim the fastest lap during the third free practice session as well.

The opening day of the 2011 season saw some fantastic action on the Losail International Circuit. The Moto2 riders got two free practice sessions in today, and Stefan Bradl and Yuki Takahashi topped the time sheets.
